Hoje a publicação é uma compilação de corações que fiz em croché e feltro, e que ainda me servem de decoração passados tantos anos.

Colagem em castanho e rosa

Fiz mais uma colagem, com sobras de outros projetos. Isto é um tipo de arte, que deixo simplesmente fluir e usar o que tenho à mão duma forma que me parece harmoniosa.

I made yet another collage, with leftovers of other projects. This is a type of art, that I just let flow and use whatever I have at hand, mixing and matching in a way that seems harmonious to me.

Depois colei um naperon de papel rosado no centro com um autocolante com uma mensagem de amor. Uma borboleta perdida de projetos passados voou até aqui :) Uns selos vintage foram colados no topo.

Then I glued a pink dyed paper doily with a love note sticker. A butterfly adrift from past projects flew into the collage :) Some vintage stamps were glued on the top.

Caderno com borboletas vintage

O caderninho evoluiu ao longo dos anos :)

The journal has evolved through the years :)

Ao longo do tempo, as páginas foram-se preenchendo.

Through time, the pages began to fill up.

A Graphics Fairy tem imagens incríveis que usei por aqui também.

Graphics Fairy has many lovely images that I also used in the journal.

O último acrescento foram as minhas imagens das borboletas vintage. Uso o Microsoft Office Picture Manager que dá para descarregar gratuitamente da net, uma vez que já uso ferramenta faz tempo e permite-me imprimir imagens facilmente.

Tthe lasst addition was my vintage butterflies images. I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager which you can download freely, since I have been using for a long time and it allows me to print images easily.

Nestas imagens maiores, imprimi 2 imagens numa folha A4 de cor bege. Em vez de cortar à volta, uso uma régua e rasgo a imagem com a régua para criar um rebordo irregular.

The larger images, were printed as 2 images on a A4 sheet of beige paper. Instead of cutting neatly around, I use a ruler and rip the image to create an uneven border.

A imagem é colada à folha do caderno em apenas na borda esquerda, para permitir escrever por baixo da imagem.

The image is glued to the journal's page on only its left border, to allow to write underneath the image.

Neste caso, eu até colei a borda esquerda da segunda imagem à borda direita da primeira, para fazer uma extensão da folha. Assim, a segunda imagem dobra por cima da primeira.

In this case, I even glued the left border of the second image to the right border of the first, to make and extension of the paper. This way, the second image folds on top of the first image.

Recortei uma das borboletas e colei na dobra de cima.

I also cut of the butterflies and glued it on the top fold.

Noutra página do caderno outra imagem de tamanho igual às anteriores. De novo, apenas foi colada a borda esquerda da imagem, e assim pode-se escrever na página por baixo da imagem. Este tipo de coisas remontam à minha infância, dos casos dos cadernos secretos e dos mistérios d'Os Cinco!

On another page of the journal, a image of the same size as the previous. Again, I only glued the left border to the page, to be able to write underneath the image. This type of things take me back to my childhood, of cases of secret journals and the mysteries of Os Cinco!

Imprimi também 4 imagens por uma folha A4 branca. Vê-se bem como as cores ficam diferentes do papel bege. Estas imagens mais pequenas servem para colar integralmente nas folhas. 

I also printed 4 images per A4 white sheet. You can clearly see the difference in colors when compared with the bege paper. This smaller images are to be glued entirely on the journal's page.

Outro exemplo de uma imagem recortada e imprimida em papel branco. Gosto como os fundos da imagem fundem-se com o fundo das folhas do caderno. Aqui vê-se o espaço da folha de baixo de uma imagens maiores.

Another example of a cut around image printed on white paper. I like how the background of the images blend with the background of the pages. Here you can see the space beneath one of the larger images.

Imprimo sempre umas imagens a mais para recortar os motivos e usá-los pelo caderno :)

I always print some extra images, so I can cut out the motifs and use throughout the journal :)

Borboletas vintage para imprimir

Criei estas imagens no Canva para o meu cadernito de pássaros e borboletas! 

I created these images in Canva for my little book on birds and butterflies!

Queria imagens de borboletas em cores térreas, e com ar de esquema ou estudo feito num caderno.

I wanted butterfly images in earthy tones, and wanted the look of a sketch or study made in a journal.

Assim além das imagens das borboletas, em que algumas das cores tiveram de ser ajustadas, usei também os carimbos digitais do Canva para criar a ideia de um estudo ou esquema no fundo.

In that way, besides the images of the butterlies, where some colors needed to be tweaked, I also used the digital stamps in Canva to create the look of sketches and studies on the background.

É claro que onde há borboletas, há flores :) Algumas também tiveram as cores ajustadas.

And of course, where there are butterflies, there are flowers :) Some of the flowers needed color tweaking.

E assim criei estas imagens para imprimir.

And so I created these printable images.

Basta clicar nas imagens e guardar com o formato PNG para o seu PC.

Just click on them and save as PNG format in your PC.

Nestas imagens atrevi-me a usar cores mais azuladas e gostei do resultado.

In these images, I deared with using some muted blue hues and I liked the result.
