Pulseiras "Tesouros na Areia"

Há tempos comprei uma contas em tons acasatanhos e brancos. Pensei logo fazer pulseiras ou um colar. 

Some time ago, I bought some brown and white colored beads. I thought of making bracelets or a necklace.

Acabei por fazer duas pulseiras com fio elástico. Numa pulseira, usei contas em forma de estrela que vinham no conjunto e uma borla.

I ended up making two bracelets with elastic thread. For one bracelet, I used star beads that came in the set and a tassel.

Na outra, usei também uma contas rosas transparentes que eu tinha no meu conjunto de contas.

For the other bracelet, I also used some transparent pink beads I had in my stash.

Pulseira com flores de missangas

Já não pegava nas minhas missangas faz tempo! Decidi experimentar a pulseira de margaridas cok missangas que se vê muito nos vídeos por aí. 

It's been some time, since I have picked with my beads! I decided to try out making the seed bead daisy bracelets that are going around in videos in the net.

Encontrei este tutorial passo-a-passo (em inglês), que mostra como se faz.

I found this step-by-step tutorial (in English that shows how to make it.

Usei umas missangas que comprei há tempos (há anos!) na Claire's. 

I used seed beads that I bought at Claire's some time ago (years ago!). 

E voilá, saiu uma pulseira de margaridas com missangas. Não saiu perfeitinha, mas é uma questão de ir practicando!

And voilá, a seed bead daisy bracelet. It did not come out totally perfect, but it's a question of practicing.

A Cidália do blog Coisas de uma vida... deu a excelente ideia de fazer uns brincos usando o padrão do enfeite. Achei uma ideia fantástica e fiz não só brincos, como uma pulseira e um pendente para um fio.

Cidália from the blog Coisas de uma vida... gave an excelente idea to make a pair of earrings using the pattern of the ornament. I thought it was a fantastic idea and made not only the earrings, but also a bracelet and a necklace pendant.

Usei linha DMC Cebelia nº 30 na cor salmão para fazer as peças. Os brincos ficaram bem delicados:

I used DMC Cebelia no 30 thread in salmon color to make the pieced. The earrings came out really delicate:

O pendente para o fio foi embelezado com uma conta semi-transparente:

Pulseira de canudinhos

Já fazia algum tempo que não mexia nas minhas missangas. Tinha pensado há tempos em fazer uma pulseira simples com canudinhos. 

It's been some time since I picked up my beads. I had thought of making a simple bugle bead bracelet for some time.

Depois de finalmente a inspiração ter chegado decidi fazer uma pulseira com canudinhos azuis intercalados com missangas transparentes. Como tinha gostado de um conjunto de pulseiras que vi, decidi fazer duas pulseiras numa só.

After inspiration finally came, I decided to make a bracelet with blue bugle beads interleaved with transparent seed beads. Since I liked a multi-stranded bracelet I'd seen, I decided to make a two-stranded bracelet.

Do meu querido conjunto de canudinhos azuis, separei canudinhos de duas tonalidades. Usei fio de sedela para fazer a pulseira. Fiz um nó com a sedela no fecho.
From my beloved set of blue bugle beads, I separated bugle beads of two hues. I used transparent beading thread to make the bracelet. I knotted the thread to the clasp.

Comecei com um conjunto de canudinhos. Fiei um canudinho, 3 missangas transparentes, 1 canudinho, 3 missangas e por ai fora. Quando estava com o comprimento desejado, fiei um anel metálico para fechar a pulseira no fecho.
I started with one of the bugle sets. I threaded a bugle bead, 3 seed beads, 1 bugle bead, 3 seed beads and so on. When the desired length was reached, I threaded a metallic ring to close the bracelet in the clasp.

Depois de ter fiado o anel, continuei com padrão mas com os canudinhos da outra tonalidade. Por fim, atei um nó no fecho e cortei o excesso das pontas de sedela.
After I threaded the ring, I continued the pattern but with the bugle beads of the other hue set. Finally, I knotted the thread to the clasp and trimmed the thread excesses.

Às vezes coloco uma pinga de cola vinilica nos nós.
Sometimes I add a bead of vinylic glue to the knots.

Pulseira com folha

Criei esta pulseira com missangas várias e com contas transparentes.

I created this bracelet with several colored seed beads and transparent beads.

Tinha um pendente em forma de folha que queria muito usar, e então adicionei à pulseira. Adicionei também uma conta azulada semi-transparente.

I had a leaf pendant I really wanted to use, so I added it to the bracelet. I also added a semi-transparent blue bead.

Para finalizar, usei fechos prateados pois combinavam bem com as cores transparentes, azuladas e prateadas das missangas.

To finalize, I used silver colored clasps because they blended well with the transparent, bluish and silver colors of the seed beads.

É uma pulseira que me faz lembrar do verão, mas paradoxalmente devido às suas cores também do inverno... que neste preciso momento não precisa de ser lembrado :)

It's a bracelet that reminds me of summer, but paradoxally because of its colors also of winter... which at this precise moment does not need reminding :)
