Sombrinhas em croché

Aqui há tempos fiz umas sombrinhas em croché muito fofas:

Entre as sombrinhas que havia feito, tinha feito uma em branco e uma em azulinho. Uni essas duas sombrinhas com fita azul a fazer uma bolsa, com o cuidado das pegas de ambas as sombrinhas estarem viradas para o mesmo lado:

Among the little umbrellas I made, there was one in white and one in light-blue, I joined these two umbrellas with baby-blue ribbon to make a sachet, being careful to have both handles of the umbrellas facing the same way:

Depois é encher com um saquinho de potpourri para pendurar no armário, ou umas amêndoas de chocolate para a Páscoa, ou uma prendinha pequena para oferecer no Dia da Mãe, ...

Then fill with a little sachet of potpourri to hang in the closet, ou some chocolate almonds for Easter, or a little present to offer on Mother's Day, ...

Decorei com flores de papel.

I embellished with paper flowers.

Envelheci o gráfico e acrescentei uma textura de tecido.

I aged the graphics and added a cloth-like vintage texture to it.

Imprimi a 50% e usei para um caderno de anotações relacionados com flora e fauna ^^

I printed it at 50% and used it on a journal for notes related to flora and fauna ^^

Infusões para a ansiedade

Existem várias infusões que se podem beber para a ansiedade. A ansiedade pode ainda provocar dores de estômago, indigestão, fadiga adrenal e insónias entre outras maleitas.

There are several infusions that you can drink for anxiety. Anxiety can also cause stomach ache, indigestion, adrenal fatigue and insomnia among other problems.

Com isto em mente, trago a sugestão de algumas infusões bem conhecidas.

With that in mind, I share some well-known infusions.

Cidreira: infusão calmante e digestiva de sabor alimonado muito agradável. Ajuda a aclamar a ansiedade, e é excelente para indigestões, enfartamento e problemas gástricos. Para problemas digestivos, pode-se adicionar gengibre picadinho à infusão que é muito bom para náuseas.

Lemon balm: calming and digestive infusion with a very pleasant lemony flavour. Helps calm anxiety, and is excellent for indigestion and gastric problems. For digestive problems, you can add ginger finely chopped to the infusion which is great for nauseas.

Camomila: infusão calmante e digestiva. A camomila ajuda a baixar a febre, ajudar a acalmar os nervos, ajuda a gerir o stress e é um excelente tónico digestivo. O seu sabor floral não agrada a algumas pessoas.

Chamomile: calming and digestive infusion. Chamomile helps lower fever, helps calms down, helps to manage stress and is an excellent digestive tonic. Its floral flavour is not pleasuring to some people.

Hortelã-pimenta: infusão calmante e digestiva. A hortelã-pimenta reduz a ansiedade e a fadiga. É um excelente tónico digestivo, ideal para beber às refeições. 

Peppermint: calming and digestive infusion. Peppermint helps reduce anxiety and fatigue. It is an excellent digestive tonic, ideal to drink with meals.

Alfazema: infusão calmante e sedativa. A alfazema é bem conhecida pela suas acção relaxante e sedativa. Ideal para reduzir a ansiedade e a aliviar a insónia.

Lavender: calming and sedative infusion. Lavender is well known for its relaxing and sedative action. Ideal to reduce anxiety and alleviate insomnia.

Capa pequena para cartões

Fiz uma capa pequena para guardar cartões e outros itens usando dois envelopes. A aba de um envelope é colada no interior do outro envelope, e a aba deste é por sua vez colada nas costas do primeiro envelope. Isto é uma forma fácil de reutilizar envelopes e criar capas pequenas para guardar itens pequenos. Até dá para usar em cadernos.

I made a small folder for cards and other items bu«y using two envelopes. The flap of one envelope is glued to the inside of the other envelope, while the flap of this envelope is glued to the back of the first envelope. This is an easy way to reuse envelopes and create small folders to keep small items. You can even use in junk journals.

Na frente da capa colei um dos cartões daqui (do conjunto de Novembro) e adicionei uma fita:

On the front of the folder, I glued one of the these postcards (from the November set) and I added a ribbon:

On the inside of the envelopes I glued some cotton paper. On one side of the folder I glued one os these postcards (from the June set):

Do outro lado colei um desenho que eu fiz, com três pedrinhas coladas.

One the other side, I glued a drawing of mine with three glued flower-shaped rhinestones.

Na parte de trás decorei com um motivo imprimido e renda.

On the back I embellished with a printable and lace.
