Como utilizei algumas das folhas do album, noutros projectos decidi refazer este album.
Since I used some of the pages of the album in other projects, I decided to makeover this album.
Em acetato, desenhei uma asas e pintei-as com canetas de acetato. Recortei-as e retoquei com glitter iridiscente. Colei-as ao topo da janela com fita dupla face e também colei as pontas das asas aos cantos do cartão.
Using transparency sheet, I drew some wings and painted them with transparency markers. I cut them out and embellished them with iridescent glitter. I glued then to top of the window with double tape and I also glued the tips of the wings to the edges of the card.
Tinha feito e guardado uma flor em papel vegetal pintada com canetas gel e esbatida com um cotonete. Colei na parte de baixo da capa, onde antes estava a etiqueta 'Fairy Album'.
I made and kept a flower in vellum painted with gel pens and blended with a q-tip. I glued it to the bottom of the cover, where the tag 'Fairy Album' used to be.
Para o interior fiz um caderno em papel de cor bege. Em várias paginas imprimi a moldura floral:

Este bolso feito em papel algodão foi reutilizado doutro caderno e enchi com surpresas como borboletas em cartão pré-cortadas e etiquetas. Mantive a imagem das fadinhas.
This pocket made in cotton paper was repurposed from another journal and I filled it with surprises such as pre-cut card butterflies and tags. I kept the fairies image.
Fiz outro par de asas em acetato como as da capa, para o interior do caderno. Desenhei-as de forma diferente. Colei no papel vegetal com estrelas que já vinha com este caderno, mas antes tinha um floco 3D que reutilizei num cartão de natal.
I made another pair of wings as the ones from the cover, for the inside of the journal. I drew them differently. I glued them to the starry vellum paper that was already in the journal, but had a 3D snowflake I repurposed for a Christmas card.

Inicialmente proposto para decorar vasinhos, pensei em fazer um conjunto delas.
Initially proposed to decorate little vases, I thought of making a set out of them.
Comecei por imprimir as etiquetas em papel normal de cor bege.
I started by printing the labels in normal-weight paper in beige color.
Escolhi três das etiquetas, recortei-as e colei-as em cartão de cor pêssego claro. Depois recortei com uma borda maior. I chose three labels, cut them and glued them to light peach colored cardboard. Then I cut them with a larger edge.
Com o mesmo cartão, fiz um bolsinho simples e arredondei as bordas com uma tesoura. Também tinha imprimido anteriormente de outro conjunto uma etiqueta pequena (à direita). With the same cardboard, I made a simple little pocket and rounded the edges with scissors. I had printed from another set a small label too (at the right).
Tingi as bordas das etiquetas e do bolso com uma caneta brush. Fiz assim: passei a caneta brush castanha na tampa transparente da caixa das canetas e depois com uma caneta brush de água, peguei a cor e passei nas bordas. Desta forma não fica muito carregado. I tinted the edges of the labels and of the pocket with a brush pen. This is how I did it: with the brown colored brush pen I inked the transparent lid of the pen box and then with a water-brush I transferred the ink to the edges. This way, the color isn't so strong.
Os ramos castanhos foi com a caneta brush direto no papel. Colei uma das etiquetas na frente do bolso e usei um stencil para marcar as folhas com a técnica anterior. Contornei as folhas com uma caneta fina.
The brown branches were made with the brush pen directly on the paper. I glued one of the labels to the front of the pocket and used a stencil to mark the foliage with the previous technique. I outlined the leaves with a thin pen.
Na etiqueta do meio, colei uma imagem pequena que reciclei na borda da etiqueta. Na etiqueta pequena, costurei um botãozinho por cima de um bocadinho de renda. On the middle label, I glued a small image I recycled on the edge of the label. On the little label, I sewed I tiny button on top of a scrap of lace.
Adicionei um clip fofinho na forma de cacto. Juntei uma rendinha presa com fio de croché no clip. I added a cute clip in the shape of a cactus. I added a piece of lace tied with a bit of crochet thread to the clip.

I bought a pack of mounting cards for Christmas to make my Christmas cards to send to friends and family.

As possibilidades eram imensas e acabei por ver um vídeo de um caderno em concertina que me inspirou! Mas em vez de fazer um caderno em concertina que resultaria num caderno triplo -- um caderno em cada dobra -- preferi usar a dobra central para fazer um bolso. The possibilities were immense and I ended up viewing a video of a concertina junk journal that inspired me! But instead of making a concertina journal that would result in a triple journal -- a journal in each fold -- I preferred to use the central fold to make a pocket.
Assim fiz um bolso para a dobra central e fiz dois cadernos para as dobras de fora. So I made a pocket in the center and two journals for the outside folds.
Decorei a parte da frente com um naperon de papel colado em cartão prateado e colei uma fitinha, um selo grande brilhante que veio num conjunto de scrap-paper vintage e um ornamento que caiu de um album de fotos muito antigo.
I embellished the front with a paper doily which I glued to silver card and I glued a little bow, a large glittery vintage post stamp that came in a vintage scrap-paper set and an ornament that fell off a very antique photo album.
O caderno tem uma fita castanho por baixo no cartão prateado e outra da parte de trás e as fitas atam nas laterais.
The journal has a brown ribbon under the silver card and another one on the back and the ribbons tie sideways.

Naperon de papel intercalado com as páginas e gráficos botânicos imprimidos em papel bege. As páginas do caderno foram feitas de papel de carta bege pálido. Paper doily interleaved with the pages and botanical graphics printed in beige paper. The journal pages were made from pale bege letter paper.
Páginas costuradas e com flores de croché nas pontas e no meio. Stitched pages with crocheted flowers on the tips and middle.
