Óleo de massagem para músculos doridos

Fiz óleo de massajar músculos doridos.

I made an oil to massage injured muscles.

O óleo base que utilizei foi a maceração de arnica e calêndula em azeite que fiz uns dias antes:

Utilizei um frasco escuro de 50 ml. Adicionei um pitada de pimenta cayenne em pó para potenciar a absorção dos oleos.

I used a 50ml dark bottle. I added a pinch of cayenne pepper to potentiate the absorption of the oils.

Adicionei 5 gotas de óleo essencial de gaultéria para tratar lesões musculares e 3 gotas de óleo essencial de alecrim para aumentar a circulação às zonas afectadas.

I added 5 drops of wintergreen essential oil to treat muscle lesions and 3 drops of rosemary essential oil to increase circulation to the affected areas.

Fecha-se o frasco e abana-se bem para misturar todos os componentes. Está pronto a utilizar.
Close the bottle and shake well to mix all the components. It is ready to use.

Atenção: A arnica e a gaultéria só podem ser utilizadas externamente, pois são tóxicas para uso interno. Em geral, o uso dos óleos essenciais deve ser sempre externo e nunca utilizados directamente, mas sempre diluídos num óleo base.
Attention: Arnica and wintergreen can only be used externally, since they are toxic for internal use. In general, essential oils should always be used externally and never used directly, but always diluted in a base oil.

Maceração de arnica e calêndula em azeite

Fiz esta maceração em azeite, para tratar lesões musculares e, no meu caso, contracturas musculares.

I made this maceration in olive oil, to treat muscle ailments and, in my case,, muscle contractures.

Usei flor de arnica seca e flor de calêndula seca. Enchi mais de meio de um frasco (comprimir bem as flores com as mãos). A arnica só pode ser utilizada externamente, pois é tóxica para uso interno.

I used arnica flowers and calendula flowers. I filled more than half a jar (compress the flowers with your hands). Arnica can only be used externally, since it is toxic for internal use.

Depois adicionei azeite virgem extra até quase ao topo e fechei o frasco. Ficou no armário dez dias a macerar.
I then added extra virgin olive oil almost to the top and closed the jar. I kept it in a cupboard for 10 days to macerate.

Depois coei e espremi bem as flores para tirar o óleo macerado todo. Guardo num frasco com tampa num lugar fresco e seco (num armário) e pode-se usar como está, ou então pode-se utilizar como 

óleo base para outros óleos de tratamentos musculares.

I then strained and squeezed the flowers to get the macerated oil all out. I keep it in a jar with a lid in a cool and dry place (in a cupboard) and I can use it as is, or I can use it as a base oil for other muscle treatment oils.

Atenção: Este óleo é apenas para uso externo, pois a arnica é tóxica para uso interno.
