As glórias-da-manhã são flores que sempre me fascinaram, desde miúda, apesar de serem venenosas. Não obstante, enfeitam paredes e terras com as suas flores maravilhosas!

Morning-glories are flowers that have always fascinated me, since a little girl, although they're poisonous. Nevertheless, they decorate walls and fields with their gorgeous flowers!

Desenhei glórias-da-manhã com uma caneta castanha e pintei com lápis de cor.

I drew some morning-glories with a brown pen and painted with coloring pencils.

Nesta aqui, desenhei com a caneta castanha e pintei com canetas de álcool.

In this one, I drew with the brown pen and painted with alcohol ink pens.

Flores com caneta acrílica em papel castanho

Pintei e desenhei estas flores com caneta acrílica em papel castanho.

I painted and drew these flowers with acrylic pen on brown paper.

Usei canetas em cor pastel e caneta dourada.

I used pastel colors and golden pen.

Aqui está um ângulo diferente para se poder ver a caneta dourada.

Here is a different angle to capture the golden ink.

Não raspei o giz, mas usei-o de lado para fazer a mistura das cores. Fiz tudo com pastel-giz, mesmo as árvores.

I did not scrape the chalk, but I used it sideways to blend the colors. I did everything with soft pastels, even the trees.

Apesar do sol ter ficado meio elíptico😅 gostei bastante do resultado! E como é pastel-giz, decidi laminar como fiz com a pintura anterior.

Although the sun came out a little elliptical 😅 I liked the result veru much! And since it's soft pastel, I decided to laminate the painting, as I did with the previous one.

Rosas em aguarelas metálicas

Desenhei estas roas e miosótis com caneta castanha. Depois pintei as flores com aguarelas metálicas e o fundo com lápis de cor.

I drew these rosas and forget-me-nots with a brown pen. Then I painted the flowers with metallic watercolors and the background with colored pencils.

Aqui uma tentativa de mostrar o brilho delicado das aguarelas.

Here am I trying to show the delicate shimmer from the watercolors.

Lírio: desenho e papel de carta

Desenhei e pintei este lírio com lápis de cor numa folha bege. Como tirei a foto de noite, ficou com esse tom.

I drew this lily and colored it with pencils on a beige sheet. Since I photographed it at night, it has this color.

Com a foto, removi o fundo e corrigi a luminosidade e contraste. Fiquei com este png de fundo transparente.

With the photo, I removed the background and corrected the brightness and contrast. I ended up with this png with transparent background.

Magnólias com canetas de álcool

Hoje partilho este desenho de magnólias que fiz com caneta castanha (a minha cor preferida para desenhar). 

Today I am sharing a drawing I made of magnolias with a brown pen (my favorite color for drawing).

Depois usei canetas de álcool para pintar e caneta acrílica branca para os pormenores.

Then I used alcohol pens for coloring and acrylic white pen for the highlights.

Pintura com pastel giz

Confesso que acho muito frustrante fazer arte com pastel giz. Tirando um desenho que fiz há uns anos:

No outro dia, estava a ver um vídeo que guardei no pinterest:

e decidi voltar a tentar. 

and decided to try again.

Desta vez, usei o giz quase sempre de lado e usei o dedo para esfumar como de costume. Segui o vídeo passo a passo, a tentar pelo menos algo parecido.

This time, I almost always used the chalk pastel sideways and used my finger to blend as usual. I followed the video step by step, trying to get something remotely similar.

As espuma branca não estava a sair nada bem, mas insisti com um dos cantos do giz. E a pintura começou a tomar forma :)

The white foam was not going well, but I insisted with a corner of the chalk pastel. And then the painting started to get somewhere :)

O papel também ajudou bastante. Usei papel castanho de 160 gr com alguma textura, o que ajudou a trazer o branco à vida.

The paper also helped a lot. I used brown 160 gr paper with some texture, that helped the white pop out.

Confesso que gostei bastante do resultado. 

I confess that I really like the result.

Como o pastel giz precisa de fixador, eu laminei o desenho :) Prontos, problema resolvido :D

Since chalk pastel art needs a fixative, I laminated the drawing :) There, problem solved :D

Borboleta em aguarelas

Desenhei esta borboleta e as flores com caneta castanha. Depois pintei com aguarelas.

I drew this butterfly and flowers with a brown pen. Then I painted with watercolors.

As cores ficaram divinais! Não sei se foi do papel, que tinha uma textura maravilhosa! 

The colors were divine! I don't know if it was the paper, that had a wonderful texture!

Esta pintura acabou por ser das minhas favoritas 🖌

This ended up being one of my favorite paintings 🖌

Fiz este desenho de folhas com caneta castanha e pintei com lápis de cor.

I made this drawing with a brown pen and painted it with coloring pencils.

Depois extraí a imagem digitalmente. Pode usá-la nos seus trabalhos.

I then digitally extracted the image. You can use it in your work.

Depois usei a imagem extraída na criação desta página que pode ser uma página para carta ou para caderno.

Then I used the exracted image to create this page that can be a letter page or a journal page.

Estudo Borboleta Aguarelas

Esta pintura foi inspirada numa imagem vintage do estudo de uma borboleta. A imagem foi desenhada com caneta castanha.

This painting was inspired on a vintage image of a study of a butterfly. The image was drawn with brown pen.

O fundo foi pintado com aguarelas em tons de amarelo torrado e laranja, para tentar imitar papel envelhecido.

The background was painted with watercolors in butterscotch and orange hues, to try and imitate aged paper.

As folhas superiores foram pintadas em tons de verde. O corpo da borboleta foi pintado em preto. Depois passei aguarelas metálica na cor cobre no corpo para dar brilho. Logo a seguir pintei as asas com aguarelas metálicas.

The upper leaves were painted in green colors. The body of the butterfly was painted in black. Then I gave a wash with copper metallic watercolors to give some shine to the body. Then I painted the wings in metallic watercolors.

As flores inferiores também foram pintadas com aguarelas metálicas. Por fim, contornei as folhas superiores com aguarela metálica em tom verde.

The lower flowers were also painted with metallica watercolors. To finish off, I traced the upper leaves with green metallic watercolor.

Gostei bastante do resultado!
