Flores em Hey Clay

Nas compras do Continente, andam a "oferecer" umas plasticinas chamadas Hey Clay. Aqui o oferecer é tipo dá cá um porco, toma lá uma chouriça! 

When buying at Continente, they are "offering" some putty clay called Hey Clay. Here, offer is kinda give me a pig and I'll give you a sausage!

Como estas plasticinas secam ao ar e ficam com um toque a tecido, eu guardo-as num pote hermético de vidro (um daqueles dos hummus da Bocadilla -- já lavado ok!!).

Since these putty clay dry when left out in the air and get a fabric-like texture, I keep them in an air-tight container (one of those Bocadilla hummus jars -- already cleaned ok!!)

Ora nem é tarde, nem é cedo para experimentar com esta nova ferramenta 🔨😬

So, it's just the right time to experiment with this new tool 🔨😬

Pensei que o mais fácil seria fazer flores 💮 nem vos conto quantas tentativas foram até acertar com a flor violeta maior 👀

I thought it would be easiest to try and do flowers 💮 I won't even tell you how many times it took until I got the larger violet flower 👀

Depois foram as folhas 🍃 Não foi à primeira, nem à segunda, nem ... Mas cheguei lá eventualmente 😵

And then there was the leaves 🍃 Not at first, not at second try, not... Mas eventually I got there 😵

Depois fui fazer uma flor de jarro que tenho quase a certeza absoluta que não existem em violeta?!  aquele verde então! 

Then I went to try out a calla lily, which I am almost absolutely sure that do not exist in violet?! and that green!

E depois já convencida que tinha a coisa mais ou menos desvendada fui tentar uma rosa 🏵 Oh céus! Foram bem mais tentativas que a flor violeta! Enrolar, puxar, espalmar, quase uma pétala... oh enrolar, puxar, espalmar, e é uma pét... , enrolar, puxar, espalmar e já estava quase a espalmar com tudo quando consigo fazer um botão misteriosamente! E agora é só as pétalas 😱 

Then convinced I had it more or less figured out, I went to try a rose 🏵 Good grief! There were so much more attempts than with the violet flower! Roll, stretch, flatten, almost a petal... oh roll, stretch, flatten, and a pet... roll, stretch, flatten and when I was just to flatten everything out I mysteriously make a bud! And now it's just the petals 😱 

Praticamente convencida que a rosa não iria ser, começo a conseguir fazer umas coisas que parecem umas pétalas e que se vão segurando em torno do botão 🥳 Uma rosa!!!!

Piratically convinced that the rose was not to be, I start to make some things that look like petals and that are holding around the bud 🥳 a rose!!!!

Próxima tentativa: um amor perfeito! Tinha as cores perfeitas: violeta e amarelo. Mas o amor-perfeito não saiu lá muito perfeito! É um amor não-perfeito 😅

Next try: a pansy! I had the perfect colors: violet and yellow! But the pansy didn't come out very perfectly! 😅

Uma das plasticinas era azul! Azul e flores náo combinam tão bem, a não ser que sejam miosótis! Mas esses são tão pequenos que não me vi a aventurar fazer pétalas tão pequenas 👀 

One of the clay was blue! Blue and flowers don't go too well, unless its forget-me-nots! But they are so small, I did not see myself adventuring at making tiny petals 👀 

Então pensei porque não um vaso!  Saiu um vaso fantástico, dos mais tortos do mundo! Talvez ainda ganhe um prémio 😅

So I thought, why not a vase! A fantastic vase came out, the crookedest one in the world! Maybe I'll get a prize 😅
