Patins da neve em papel

Com a chegada no Natal e do Inverno, a decoração da casa muda de tons dourados para tons brancos.

Uma das coisas que sempre gostei da ver algumas decorações de Inverno são os patins de neve pendurado na porta da entrada!

With the arrival of Christmas and Winter, the home decor changes from golden hues to white hues. One of the things I have always loved when seeing some winter decorations are ice skates hanging on the front door!

Este ano andei um pouco obcecada em fazer uns patins de neve em papel ou cartão. Ainda pensei em fazer em feltro, mas já tinha os meus patins de feltro pequeninos que já uso nas decorações de Natal/Inverno há uns aninhos :)

This year I have been a little obsessed about making paper or cardboard ice skates. I still thought of making them in felt, but I already have my little felt skates that I have used in Christmas/Winter decorations for some years :)

Então no Canva encontrei um patim que personalizei e criei o seu reverso:

So I found an ice skate in Canva and customized its and created its reverse:

Depois imprimi os patins em separado em papel de 160 gr. Recortei os patins com cuidado. Cortei as laminas fora, e usei uma delas como molde para fazer uma lamina em papel prateado metálico.

Then I printed each skate separately on 160 gr paper. I cut them out carefully. I cut off the blades, and used one of them as a template to cut out a blade on metallic silver-colored paper.

Depois foi colar os patins de forma a formar uma bota, onde as pontas de cima da lamina prateada foi colada no interior das solas de modo a ficar como na foto. O topo da bota não é colada. No sítio dos atacadores, fiz os furos com uma agulha de tapeçaria, e passei uma fita de organza pelos buracos para os atacadores. 

Then it was time to glue the skates together to form a boot, where the top ends of the silver blade were glued in the inside of both soles as shown in the photo. The top of the boot is not glued together. On the place of the laces, I made the holes with a tapestry needle and pulled an organza ribbon through the holes to form the laces.

Cortei com uma tesoura ondulada, uma tira de papel branco glitter e colei no topo da bota.

I cur with wavy scissors a strip of white glitter paper and glued it to the top of the boot.

Decorei com flocos de neve de madeira. Enchi a bota um pouco no fundo com um pouco de enchimento para ficar mais dimensional. Depois dobrei naperon de papel de modo a caber dentro da bota para fazer uma borda de renda. Colei o naperon no interior da bota. 

I embellished it with wooden snowflakes. I stuffed the boot a little on the inside to make it more dimensional. Then I folded a paper napkin to fit inside the boot to make a lacy edge. I glued the paper napkin to the inside of the boot.

Finalmente, passei uma fitinha na parte de trás da bota nos buracos do naperon para pendurar o patim. Embelezei a lamina e partes da bota com purpurina iridescente.

Finally, I ran a ribbon through the back of the boot, through the holes of the paper doily for hanging. I embellished the blade and some parts of the boot with iridescent glitter.

Hoje vou mostrar-vos o caderno de receitas que fiz. Este caderno vai conter apenas receitas natalícias, como bolos/pão de gengibre, receitas de bolo-rei e outros pratos natalícios (não necessariamente apenas sobremesas).

Today I am sharing the recipe journal I made. This journal is only for Christmas recipes, such as gingerbread recipes, fruit cake recipes and other Christmas dishes (not necessarily just desserts).

Imprimi a capa e uma página decorativa para o verso, com a opção livreto no Acrobat Reader (2 páginas por uma folha de 120gr).

I printed the cover and a decorative page for the back, with the option booklet of Acrobat Reader (2 pages per sheet of 120gr paper).

Imprimi uma folha (frente e verso) para notas. Estas são as minhas páginas de receitas. Para já só tem uma folha que dá 4 páginas (frente e verso), mas a ideia é ir adicionando à medida que for preciso. Este caderno por isso mesmo não é costurado.

I printed a sheet (front and back) for note. These are my recipe pages. For now it just has one sheet which is 4 note pages (front and back), but the idea is to add as needed. That is why this journal is not stitched together.

Na parte interior da capa, fiz uns bolsos para guardar as etiquetas.

On the inside cover, I made pockets to keep the tags.

Os bolsos foram feitas da seguinte maneira: imprimi mais duas páginas iguais às da capa interior noutra folha de papel de 120gr. Depois recortei o rodapé com a casinha de gengibre e o boneco de gengibre. Colei apenas a borda de baixo e as laterais para formar um bolso.

The pockets were as so: I printed the two same pages of the inner cover to another sheet of 120gr paper. Then,, I cut out the bottom border with the gingerbread house and the gingerbread man. I glued only the bottom edge and side to form a pocket.

Assim as etiquetas ficam guardadas nos bolsos.

That way, the tags are kept inside the pockets.

No bolso interior da frente podem ver uns cartões de receitas que eu fiz adicionalmente.

In the front pocket, you can see some recipe cards I additionally made.

Por vezes, estes são mais jeitosinhos para receitas simples e rápidas.  Os cartões foram imprimidos em papel de 120gr. 

Sometime these are more handy for simple and quick recipes. The cards were printed on 120gr paper.

Fiz ainda um cinto para o caderno com bonequinhos e bolachinhas de gengibre. Imprimi em papel de 120gr.

I also made a journal belt with gingerbread men and cookies. I printed it on 120gr paper.

Fiz uma página de padrões que usei para imprimir o verso dos cartões e do cinto.

I made a patterned page I used to print the back of the cards and journal belt.

Queria algo mais subtil que as páginas de padrões da colecção.

I wanted something more subtle than the patterned pages of the collection.

Aqui está o caderno com o cinto atado com as mesmas fitas vermelhas e bege das etiquetas.

Here is the journal with the belt tied with the same red and beige ribbons as the tags.

Etiquetas da colecção Gingerbread Lane

Hoje mostro o que fiz com as etiquetas da colecção. 

Today I am showing what I made with the tags from the collection.

Imprimi uma das página de etiquetas em papel de 120gr, recortei-as, fiz um furo e atei umas fitas vermelhas e bege.

I printed one of the pages with tags on 120gr paper, cut them out, punched a hole in them and pulled some white and beige ribbons through them.

Usei uma página de padrões para imprimir a parte de trás das etiquetas.

I used a patterned page to print the back of the tags.

As outras etiquetas foram imprimidas 2 páginas numa folha de papel de 120gr. 

The other tags/labels were printed 2 pages on a sheet of 120gr paper.

Imprimi duas páginas com padrões no verso.

I printed two patterned pages on the back.

Depois imprimi estas mesmas etiquetas uma página por uma folha de papel de 120gr. 

Then, I printed the same tags one page per sheet of 120gr paper.

Recortei-as e laminei-as para decorar a cozinha :)

I cut them out and laminated them to use in the kitchen :)
