Para o fim de semana, partilho este tutorial de como fazer um quadro "branco" com coisas que temos em casa:

Aletria à Bella

O meu falecido pai adorava aletria. Como ele nunca tolerou leite de vaca mesmo em sobremesas, a minha mãe fazia a receita antiga da terra: com água e açúcar. A versão com leite é bem mais moderna.

My late father loved aletria. Since he never tolerated cow's milk even in desserts, my mom used to make the traditional recipe: with water and sugar. The version with milk is much more modern.

Quando o meu pai adoeceu e veio viver connosco, comecei a fazer esta versão que faço até hoje. Todos aprovam :) 

When my dad got sick and came to live with us, I starting making this version I still make today. Everyone approves :)

Esta receita é feita com bebida de aveia. Começa-se por infundir 1 litro de bebida de aveia com 2 paus de canela, um bocado de casca de limão e um bocado de gengibre, num tacho pequeno. Quando ferver a bebida de aveia, baixa-se o lume e retira-se os paus de canela, o gengibre e a casca do limão.

This recipe is made with oat milk. Start by infusing 1 litre of oat milk with 2 cinnamon sticks, a slice of lemon peel and a chunk of ginger, in a small pan. When the milk starts to boil. turn down the heat and remove the cinnamon sticks, the lemon peel and the ginger chunk.

Depois adiciona-se 200 gr de aletria ao leite e deixa-se a massa cozer. Se achar necessário., adicione 1 a 2 colheres de sopa de açúcar mascavado, conforme o gosto. Quando a mistura engrossar, verta para uma pequena taça de pírex, ou para tacinhas. Vai ao frigorífico para solidificar.

Then add 200 gr of aletria pasta to the milk and let it cook. If you need, add 1 to 2 tbsp of mascavado sugar, to taste. When the mixture thickens, pour to a pyrex bowl or to little bowls. Put in the fridge to solidify.

Na hora de servir, decore com canela em pó :)

When serving, decorate with powdered cinnamon :)

Bonecas de papel

acabei por imprimir os vestidos e as bonecas.

I ended up printing the dresses and dolls.

Para as bonecas usei estas imagens:

For the dolls I used these two images:

A segunda foi usada para depois colar os outros vestidos por cima. Tive de recortar mais da conta para não se ver o vestido original.

The second one was used to then glue the other dresses on top. For that, I had to cut more into the doll's dress so it didn't show under the other dresses.

Como já conheço bem a ferramenta Microsoft Office Picture Manager (pode-se descarregar gratuitamente da net), gosto de usá-la para controlar as minhas impressões. 

Since I already know the Microsoft Office Picture Manager tool (you can download it for free online), I like to use it for control my printing.

Assim sendo, fiz mais duas cópias da segunda imagem, selecionei as quatro bonecas (a primeira, a segunda e as duas cópias da segunda). Usei o layout de imprimir 4 por 1, sem ajuste do fotograma.

This way, I made two more copies of the second doll, selected the four dolls (the first, the second and the two copies of the second). I used the printing layout of 4 per sheet, without adjusting the photogram.

Usei papel branco de 120 gr. A primeira boneca foi recortada exatamente como está.

I used 120 gr paper. The first doll was cut out exactly as is.

Já a segunda teve de ser ajustada para depois colar os três vestidos. Selecionei os quatro vestidos e usei o mesmo layout como acima. Usei o mesmo tipo de papel também.

The second doll had to be adjusted so that the other three dresses could be glued on top. I selected the four dresses and used the same layout as above. I also used the same paper.

Em seguida, recortei os vestidos e recortei as bonecas de modo que o vestido de baixo não se via quando o de cima estivesse colado.

Then, I cot out the dress and cut the dolls so the original dress did not show underneath the top dress.

Elas ficariam lindas num diário ou até num junk journal quiçá sobre uma dama medieval :) O outro vestido foi recortado também à espera de inspiração.

They would look lovely in a diary or even in a junk journal, say about a dame in medieval times :) The other dress was also cut out and awaits inspiration.

Criatividade com o mini-kit da Shabby Art Boutique

Aqui há dias, a Kerryanne da Shabby Art Boutique partilhou um mini-kit para imprimir:

Imprimi a pãgina bonita com rosas (página 2 do ficheiro PDF) para fazer a capa. Usei papel de 120gr.

I printed the pretty rose page (page 2 of the PDF file) to make the cover of the folder. I used 120gr paper. 

Imprimi a 1ª página do PDF com as etiquetas, botões, e por aí fora. Recortei o motivo do coelhinho e usei-o para decorar a parte da frente da capa, juntamente com o nome do kit.

I printed the 1st page of the PDF with the tags, buttons and so on. I cut out the bunny motif and used it to decorate the front of the folder, with the name of the kit.

Para a parte de dentro, imprimi a última página do kit, onde estão duas páginas numa só. Depois decorei com os elementos da 1ª página. Fiz bolsitos.

For the inside I printed the last page of the kit, with both pages in one. I then decorated the inside with the elements of the 1st page. I made tuck spots.

Recortei as lindas etiquetas. Recortei as rosas e colei-as no centro da fita azul. Depois usei a fita para fazer uma cinta na etiqueta maior.

I cut out the pretty tags. I cut out the roses and glued them to the center of the blue ribbon. Then I used the ribbon to make a belly-band for the largest tag. 

A etiqueta mais pequena entra perfeitamente na cinta.

The smallest tag fits nicely into the belly-band.

Marcadores de livros pintados a aguarelas

Há dias estava com vontade de desenhar e pintar flores com os meu lápis de aguarela.

Some days ago, I was wanting to draw and paint some flowers with my watecolor pencils.

Os lápis usam-se como lápis de cor normal mas ao pintar usa-se um waterbrush para ajudar a misturar a cor e dar o efeito de agiarela.

These pencils work as regular coloring pencils but to paint we use a waterbrush to help blend in the colors and give it that watercolor effect.

Fiz dois marcadores de livros, um com uma hortènsia pintada e outro com umas flores rosa.

I made two bookmarks, one with a painted hydrangea and another with some pink flowers.

Em ambos usei uma caneta dourada para finalizar os detalhes.

I used a golden ink pen to finalize the details on both bookmarks.

Os marcadores podem ainda ser laminados para maior robustez.

They can still be laminate for further robustness.
