Folha de outono para vela

Há dias partilhei o link com um conjunto de partituras da Graphics Fairy:

Entretanto, ficou a remoer na minha imaginação que se podia usar estas partituras para fazer coisas lindas como folhas de outono e estrelas de natal. Na altura, ficou uma imagem na minha imaginação de uma folha de outono para a minha vela LED, com uma borda em purpurina prateada.

Meanwhile, an idea kept stirring in my imagination that one could use these music sheets to make pretty things like autumn leaves and Christmas stars. At the time, in my imagination was the image of an autumn leaf for my LED candle, with a silver glitter border.

Peguei numa imagem com uma partitura e imprimi em papel de 160 gr. Cortei a folha a olhómetro, mas para quem não é tão familiar com esta técnica sofisticada eheheh 😅, cá vai alguns modelos:

I took the image of a music sheet and printed it on 160 g paper. I cut the leaf out by eyeballing it, but for those of you not familiar with this sophisticated technique hehehe 😅, here are some templates:

Para este projeto aconselho a usar uma folha tipo ácer ou plátano, larga e com pontas. Depois tingi a bordas com um cotonete e tinta de carimbo castanha brilhante. Já não me apeteceu colocar a purpurina, pois gostei mesmo como ficou.

For this project, I suggest using a maple type leaf, which is wide and pointy. Then, I tinted the edges with a q-tip and some shimmer brown stamp-ink. At this point, I didn't feel like glittering my leaf, since I really liked how it looked.

Depois com um fio de ráfia, atei a folha à vela a pilhas :) No meu caso o fio era mais largo e então desfiei-o em dois fios mais finos.

I tied the leaf to the battery candle with raffia ribbon :) In my case, the raffia ribbon was thicker and so I unraveled it into two thinner ribbons.

Posso dizer que gostei mesmo do resultado. Neste caso, ficou bem outonal. Se tivesse a purpurina, seria mas natalício, não acham?

I can really say that I like how it looks. In this case, it has a real autumn feel. If I had glittered the leaf, it would be more Christmassy, don't you think?
