Para o caule usei linha nº 5 da Petra (DMC). Adoro a textura desta linha... Faz-me lembrar as linhas antigas da Anchor Coats! A cor é verde menta e eu adoro esta cor! Para as florzinhas no caule e flor no cimo usei linha nº 10 em rosa. No centro usei sobras de amarelo e costurei uma pérola pequenina no centro. Ficou adorável! For the little flowers on the stalk and the flower at the top I used pink no 10 thread. In the center I used scraps of yellow thread and I sewed a teeny pearl in the middle. It's adorable!
Já fazia algum tempo que não mexia nas minhas missangas. Tinha pensado há tempos em fazer uma pulseira simples com canudinhos.
It's been some time since I picked up my beads. I had thought of making a simple bugle bead bracelet for some time.
Depois de finalmente a inspiração ter chegado decidi fazer uma pulseira com canudinhos azuis intercalados com missangas transparentes. Como tinha gostado de um conjunto de pulseiras que vi, decidi fazer duas pulseiras numa só.
After inspiration finally came, I decided to make a bracelet with blue bugle beads interleaved with transparent seed beads. Since I liked a multi-stranded bracelet I'd seen, I decided to make a two-stranded bracelet.
Do meu querido conjunto de canudinhos azuis, separei canudinhos de duas tonalidades. Usei fio de sedela para fazer a pulseira. Fiz um nó com a sedela no fecho. From my beloved set of blue bugle beads, I separated bugle beads of two hues. I used transparent beading thread to make the bracelet. I knotted the thread to the clasp.
Comecei com um conjunto de canudinhos. Fiei um canudinho, 3 missangas transparentes, 1 canudinho, 3 missangas e por ai fora. Quando estava com o comprimento desejado, fiei um anel metálico para fechar a pulseira no fecho. I started with one of the bugle sets. I threaded a bugle bead, 3 seed beads, 1 bugle bead, 3 seed beads and so on. When the desired length was reached, I threaded a metallic ring to close the bracelet in the clasp.
Depois de ter fiado o anel, continuei com padrão mas com os canudinhos da outra tonalidade. Por fim, atei um nó no fecho e cortei o excesso das pontas de sedela. After I threaded the ring, I continued the pattern but with the bugle beads of the other hue set. Finally, I knotted the thread to the clasp and trimmed the thread excesses.
Às vezes coloco uma pinga de cola vinilica nos nós. Sometimes I add a bead of vinylic glue to the knots.
Desta vez fiz igual, mas não usei maçãs reinetas, só das vermelhas (gala). Além disso, usei o sumo de 1 laranja e de 1/2 limão. Untei o tabuleiro com óleo de coco e polvilhei lascas de coco por cima das meias luas de maçã.
I made the same way, but this time I didn't use russet apples, only red ones (gala). I also used the juice of 1 orange and 1/2 a lemon. I greased the tray with coconut oil and sprinkled coconut chips over the apple halves.

O caderno não é costurado porque queria usá-lo com um smash journal, onde posso tirar e adicionar folhas. A fita de organza verde é que segura o caderno como unidade. A fita violeta ajuda o caderno a não abrir, devido ao seu interior volumoso.
The journal is not stitched together since I wanted to use it as a smash journal, where I can add and remove pages. The green organza ribbon is what keeps the journal together. The purple ribbon keeps the book from opening wide open, due to its bulkiness.
O caderno tem vários passarinhos croché que eu fiz. The journal has several crocheted birds I made.
Na página da capa interior, há um bolsinho com um cartão reciclado doutros cadernos e um etiqueta pequena. O cartão pode ser usado como marcador de páginas. In the inner page of the cover, I made a tuck spot with a card I upcycled from other journals and a small tag. The car can be used as a bookmark.
As próximas páginas tem recortes em cartão corrugado onde utilizo as bordas para colocar etiquetas, etc. The next pages have several cuttings in corrugated cardboard where I use the edges as tuck spots.

A seguir aproveitei uma das folhas do caderno antigo que não estava usada. Next I reused one of the pages of the junk journal that wasn't used.
Uma das coisas que gosto de usar nos meus junk journals é um tecido das costureiras que uso para segurar coisinhas com um alfinete. Gosto da textura. One of the things I like to use i my junk journals is a fabric used my seamstresses that I use to secure stuff with a safety pin. I like its texture.
As páginas rosas e verdes formam um livrinho que se pode retirar para escrever. Pensei em costurá-lo, mas acabei por deixar assim. The pink and green pages from a booklet that can be removed for writing. I thought about stitching it, but I left as is.
No centro do caderno utilizei papel vegetal que foi ao forno. Fiz dois bolsinhos com agrafos. Também fiz um livrinho com papel transparente azul. In the center of the journal, I used parchment paper that went in the oven. I made two pockets by stapling. I also made a leaflet with blue vellum paper.
Mesmo no centro, usei um livrito que fiz há algum tempo com o tema vintage.In the very center, I used a leaflet I made some time ago, vintage-themed.

No livrito de papel transparente azul, fiz uns furos no topo, com um furador em forma de flor. Com bocadinhos de fita, coloquei um floco de croché e no floco adicionei uma etiqueta.
