From time to time a culinary recipe ends up falling here :)
Desta vez é caril de batata-doce e abóbora. Servi com arroz do forno.
This time it's sweet potato and pumpkin curry. I served with rice cooked in the oven.
Ingredientes:
2 alho-francês
5 dentes de alho
Ingredients:
2 leeks
5 garlic cloves
1 lata de leite de coco
1 colher de sopa de caril em pó
1 colher de sopa de pimentão-doce em pó
3 batatas-doces grandes
1 taça de abóbora em cubos
1 taça de couves-de-Bruxelas
1 can coconut milk
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp paprika powder
3 large sweet potatoes
1 cup cubed pumpkin
1 cup Brussels sprouts
Deitar o leite de coco, caril e pimentão-doces no tacho, e mexer tudo.
Lavar e cortar o alho-francês em rodelas e juntar ao tacho.
Laminar os dentes de alho e juntar ao tacho.
Levar ao lume até ferver.
Entretanto descascar as batatas-doces e cortá-las em rodelas.
Quando ferver, juntar as batatas-doces e juntar 1 chávena de água e temperar com sal.
Deixar ferver e baixar o lume.
Entretanto preparar a abóbora e cortá-la em cubos. Juntar ao tacho.
Dividir as couves-de-Bruxelas a meio e juntar ao tacho.
Deixar tudo cozer até ficar tenro.
Pour the coconut milk, curry powder and paprika into a pan and stir togethet.
Wash the leeks and chop them and add into the pan.
Laminate the garlic cloves and add into the pan.
Turn on the heat and bring to a boil.
Meanwhile, skin the sweet potatoes and slice them.
When the pan is boiling, add the potatoes and add 1 cup of water and season with salt.
Bring to a boil then turn down the heat and let simmer.
Meanwhile, prepare the pumpkin and chop into cubes. Add to the pan.
Cut the Brussels sprout into halves and add to the pan.
Let cook until tender.
