Eis a última tela da colecção! Desta vez pintei uma rio com uma ponte!

This is my last canvas of the collection! This time I painted a river with a bridge!

Jardineira de legumes

Este prato é uma oportunidade de gastar aqueles legumes que estão a precisar de serem usados... que já não se aguentam muito mais tempo e que depois acabam por irem para o lixo ou compostagem.
This recipe is an opportunity to used those vegetables that are needing to be used... that cannot hold for much longer and end up going to the trash or compost.

Na verdade, é um refogado de legumes, mas como leva batata e ervilhas também, para nós cá em casa é a nossa jardineira.
Actually this is a veggie stew, but since it also has peas and potatoes, for us here at home it is our jardineira.

Comecei por fazer uma base com uns alhos francês que tinha no frigorífico, dentes de alho (cerca de 4), como tinha quiabos usei uns 4 e usei um tomate grande coração-de-boi, que é excelente para bases de refogado. Pus um fiozinho de óleo de sésamo (também para acabar que já só tinha um bocadinho), mas que podia muito bem ter sido azeite.
I started by making a base with some leeks I had in the fridge, garlic (about 4 cloves), since I had okra I used 4 of them and I used a large beef heart tomato, which is excelente for stew bases. I added a dash of sesame oil (also to finish it since there was a lil bit in the bottle), but it could well of been olive oil.

Depois quando o tomate se desfez e o quiabo fez uma goma deliciosa, coloquei uma courgette que precisava de ser gasta, cortada em cubos. Adicionei água para cobrir tudo. Em seguida adicionei a olhómetro as ervilhas (cerca de 1/2 chávena de ervilhas).
After the tomato melted and the okra made a wonderful creaminess, I added a courgette that was needing to be used, cut into cubes. I added water to cover all the veggies. Then I added some peas (about 1/2 cup).

Lavei e cortei umas batatinhas pequenas com casca em cubos e adicionei mais água. Temperei com sal a gosto.
I was and chopped small potatoes with the skin om and added more water. I seasoned with salt to taste.

Tinha couve coração e couve lombarda a precisar de ser gasta, e então cortei a couve em tiras e adicionei depois de ter levantado fervura. Se gostarem da couve crocante, colocam a couve nos ultimo 10 a 15 minutos finais.
I also add some cabbages needing to be used, and so I cut them into strips and added into the stew after boiling. If you like the cabbage with a crunch, just add the cabbage in the last 10 to 15 minutes.

Adicionei ainda duas malaguetas jindungo para picante.
I also added jindungo hot chillis for a kick.

Os meus posts de culinária tendem a ser escassos, pois quando fazemos coisinhas boas para comer, se não me lembrar de fotografar imediatamente, as coisinhas boas desaparecem num ápice. Algumas vezes ainda vou a tempo de fotografar e post algumas das coisas que fazemos por casa.
My cooking posts tend to be scarce, because when we do yummy things to eat, if I don't remember taking a photo right away, the yummy things disappear in the blink of an eye.

Este fim-de-semana, por exemplo, fiz massa de cevada com leite de coco e caril e com couve desfiada, mas quando me lembrei de fotografar, já era tarde!
This weekend, for example, I made barley pasta in coconut milk and curry with shredded cabbage, but when I remembered of taking a photo, it was too late!

Tenho feito imensos empadões com farinha de grão-de-bico e são deliciosos! Um dos meus favoritos é com courgette que por alguma razão estranha sabe a bacalhau com natas! Infelizmente, não tenho conseguido postar essa receita, pois só me lembro da fotografia depois do empadão estar praticamente no fim!

Gráfico para imprimir para moldura

Inspirada pelos marcadores do post anterior, criei esta moldura digital para imprimir.

Inspired by the bookmarks of the previous post, I created this digital frame as a printable.

O tamanho da moldura é 254.0mm x 190.5mm.

The size of the frame is 254.0mm x 190.5mm.

A moldura digital está disponível em formato PDF na minha lojinha Etsy. Pode ser directamente imprimida numa folha A4 e depois recortada, para caber numa moldura de tamanho A4, como na foto abaixo. Usei papel verde no fundo para contraste.

The printable is available as a PDF file at my Etsy store. It can be directly printed onto a A4 sized sheet and cut around to fit a A4 sized frame, as shown in the photo below. I used green paper in the background for contraste.

A moldura pode ser imprimida a 50% do seu tamanho e recortada, para caber numa moldura de tamanho A5, como na foto abaixo. Usei papel bege para o fundo, para dar uma suavidade na transição.
The frame can be printed at 50% of its size and cut around, to fit a A5 sized frame, as shown in the photo below. I used beige paper for the background, to give it a soft blending effect.

Se a inspiração bater à porta, a moldura pode ainda ser decorada, como na foto abaixo. Aqui usei restos de rendas, fitas, etc.
If inspiration knocks at your door, the frame can also be embellished, as shown below. Here I seed scraps of lace, ribbons, etc.

Este é outro exemplo onde a moldura foi imprimida para caber numa moldura A5, mas utilizei uma moldura A4 com papel bege claro no fundo.
This is another example where the frame was printed to fit a A5 sized frame, but I used a A4 sized frame with light bege paper in the background.

Aqui embelezei com uma bailarina que havia feito há tempos.
Here I embellished with a ballerina that I made some time ago.

Tags digitais para marcadores de livros

Gosto imenso da fazer marcadores de livros. Gosto de fazer em croché, mas também gosto de fazer em papel.

I really like making bookmarks. I like making them in crochet, but I also like making them in paper.

Criei uns quantos marcadores de livros em forma de tag, pois são muito versáteis e práticos.

I created a few bookmarks in the form of tags, because they are so versatile and practical.

Criei duas variações, cada variação com duas palavras das três: Creativity (Criatividade), Artistry (Arte), Inspiration (Inspiração).

I created two variations, each variation with two words of the three: Creativity, Artistry, Inspiration.

Partilho com vocês uma destas variações na forma de PNG. Basta clicar nas imagens para ampliar e depois é só guardar no disco. 

I share here one of these variations in the form of PNG. Just click the images to make them bigger and save them to the disk.

Depois pode imprimir duas cópias de cada imagem numa só página (4 tags por página). Assim fica num bom tamanho. 

Then print two copies of each image on one page (4 tags per page). This way, you get a nice size for the tags.

Na minha lojinha Etsy, está disponível um PDF com ambas as variações. Na foto abaixo, os tags foram imprimidos directamente do PDF.

In my Etsy store, a PDF with both variations is available. In the photo below, the tags where printed directly from the PDF.

Recorta-se dois tags iguais, e colam-se verso no verso, tendo cuidado com a orientação das letras. Eu uso cola decoupage. É preciso passar a cola bem nas bordas.
Fussycut two similar tags and glue them back to back, being careful with the orientation of the words. I used decoupage glue. You need to get the glue on the edges.

Depois da cola secar, recorta-se algum excesso branco que fique a ver-se. O marcador está feito.
After the glue has dried, cut off any excess white that shows. The bookmark is done.

Eu fiz um furo num dos lado e adicionei uma fita.
I punched one of the sides and added a ribbon through it.
